Vuyo is the king of coffee at Espresso Lab and has been since they opened. His coffee journey began at Vida where he spent a number of years working his magic in their Stellenbosch and Cape Town branches.
Vuyo is a talented and charming barista and although he is a whiz on the machine, his dream is to be involved in a different sector of the coffee industry – farming. This, he explains is the result of his two main passions, coffee and nature.
When asked what he regards as his favourite coffee, he replied with,
That is like asking a person which child they love the most.
But after much investigation he eventually admitted to a single origin from Costa Rica.
