Graphic designer by day, waiter by night. This is where Daniel Holland, owner of Yourstruly, was a year ago. For six years, the idea of getting involved in coffee, had been hovering at the back of his mind. Fed up with living like a “drone” as he says, he decided to turn his dream into a reality. He quit his day job and began the hunt to find a small space where he could serve coffee, ideally through a hatch. He admits that he was optimistic but hugely naïve and had to go back to the drawing board a number of times. He was turned down twelve times before Lady Luck gave him a break with a spot on Long Street. Daniel’s family got involved with the renovations and special mention should go to his dad who completed all the woodwork. The rest, as they say, is history.

I’m so glad he pursued his dream. Inspiring
The coolest new spot on Long Street with a hyperactive-cool owner! I’ll be a regular.
Nicely done Danny!
Great Work Dan. Good to see people like you taking the leap to do their own thing! Will come by sometime and check the place out, although I don’t really drink coffee…What else would you recommend!

I always believe in competition, upping the game and setting a quality standard for CT.
Plus I hear they have free wifi!? =)
Well positioned, nice vibe. Only down side is they don’t accept cards(yet?) and if you hungry go before 14h00, when I got there, no starch of any kind available. Coffee was really good, barista knew what he was doing.
@Dean – there is an ATM next door
Best spot ever!
