Stepping into Nordic Bakery Cafe on a icy cold London morning, is like diving into an austere scandi-box, where you can make sense of your thoughts while watching the world go by over a coffee and cinnamon bun.
According to investor Miisa Mink, they wanted to create a space that is free from the every-day disturbances, where conversations and ideas can be the focal point. They offer a selection of traditional open rye bread sandwiches, based on genuine Nordic recipes and ingredients. Keeping with the Nordic theme the tableware and furniture has been designed by iconic Nordic designers, such as Kaj Franck, Alvar Aalto (think Aalto Stool) and Ilmari Tapiovaara.

Wow this looks like the perfect place to be on a cold morning in London, that coffee looks super! mmmmmm yum!
how good are those cinamon buns i still dream of them to this day, after that first experience 2 years back . got to love the scandies.
So good! But have to admit that Jason from Jardine makes a mean Cranberry Danish that definitely competes with the Nordic’s Buns.
