There isn’t a lot that I need to tell you about this place because by now you should be a part of the furniture. If you haven’t been to The Power & The Glory then you should know that they are serving the Deluxe house blend and offer a handful of bites, vintage decor and a super cool vibe.
The adjoining Black Ram bar opens at 5pm and is abuzz not long after. The spot is the epitome of the neighbourhood hangout and chances are great that your afternoon coffee outing will extend late into the evening and perhaps the early hours.

I had a horrible experience here and won’t be going back. The manager had the stinkiest attitude ever. This place is run like a JHB nightclub and not like a friendly neighbourhood coffee shop
Me too. I was assaulted physically and verbally by the barman not too long ago. I have a witness. Not that I care really. Won’t be back though. They won’t be around long enough for me to care.
I love this place, the staff and the music are great, delicious coffee and the best place to enjoy an afternoon drink. Nights are lively and fun and sometimes chilled, really awesome crowd – a good place to meet like minded folks, if there is not much going on the staff are always good for a laugh – well done guys
