Goodbye Jardine Deli, Hello Jason.

There is good news and bad news.

The bad news is that Jardine Deli, the Bree Street institution that we have all come to love so very dearly, was in operation for the very last time yesterday.

The good news is that Captain Bread, aka Jason Lilley, has a little something up his sleeve. Yip, the Captain is taking us to a new croissant frontier with his new venture ‘Jason.’ His new baby occupies the ground floor if where Jardine Restaurant once lived and unofficially opens today. I’m sure he will put on a big shindig for us once everything is in place but the most important thing you need to know is that in the meantime you can still get your fix of heavenly croissants, out-of-the-world sarmies and coffee. Watch this space.
