The I Love Coffee Festival

Over 3000 coffee fans indulged in some of the country’s finest coffee last Saturday at the first ever I Love Coffee Festival held at the Neighbourgoods Market. The day started off with a rather serious chill in the air but soon warmed up to a typical Capetonian pseudo-winter’s day, which brought out the masses. Playing with Fire busted out the beats while fans meandered through the selection of exhibitors, which included the likes of Origin, Truth, Rosetta, Espresso Lab, Bean There, Bialetti and homegrown coffee producers, Beaver Creek.

The exhibitors all put on a truly fantastic show with their chosen alternative brewing methods, which ranged from moka pots, siphons and plungers to the AeroPress, the Turkish Pot and filter machines. A great day was had overall and a big thanks to everyone involved and to all of  you who joined us.
