“Wes” Anderson is an American film director and screenwriter. His films are known for their distinctive visual and narrative style. He is probably best known for his films such as The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Last week saw the opening of Bar Luce, a Milan cafe designed by film director Wes Anderson.
The cafe, located inside the city’s newly opened Fondazione Prada complex, is everything any Wes Anderson fan could hope for. Anderson has described the bar as the perfect place to write a movie, which makes total sense, since the bar appears to be one that would rival the Grand Budapest Hotel lobby.
Naturally, every detail of the bar is Instagram-worthy, from the menu to the floor. There’s a bathroom Margot Tenenbaum would surely like to spend her days hiding in. Plus, a perfect The Life Aquatic pinball machine … and what’s got to be the prettiest jukebox to have ever been created.
Once again, Wes Anderson, you’ve made things prettier than anyone ever thought possible.
