Having trouble finishing off that Christmas list? Here are a few ideas to help you with your last minute shopping.
Abid Clever Brewer
What makes this little device so clever? Unlike other coffee drippers, it has a valve on the bottom, so liquid only flows out when you either press up on the valve, or set the brewer on top of a cup. This means that it’s possible to control the extraction time. How does it work? Pop in the filter, add coffee and fill it up with water. Wait a few minutes for your coffee to brew, place it on your cup and allow the coffee to flow. It’s that simple.

The Aeropress Espresso and Coffee Maker
The Aeropress delivers a delicious cup of coffee in only 30 seconds. Place the paper filter and coffee in the plastic tube. Place over a cup and pour in your hot water. Mix together for ten seconds. Insert the rubber end of the plunger in the cylinder and press down firmly. After about twenty seconds, the water will all have been pushed through the filter resulting in an exceptionally smooth and flavoursome cuppa.
Available at Espresso Lab for R375 including 350 filters.
