The strapline of Sandow London, Gets a Refreshing Design – a producer of cold brew coffee, is spot on: a cold coffee that is slowly brewed using only filtered water but no heat.
This unique process of production required a premium packaging. Studio Thomas, the design agency who worked on the project says “The packaging needed to position the brand at the high-end of the market as well as give it a good shelf stand out.” The result is a distinctive, simple and memorable piece of branding that really delivers in communicating the quality, love and attention to detail that Sandows apply to their cold brew.
The copy is engaging and fascinating, the typography is clever and the outer carton nicely deliver the products.
A successful design that helped Sandows be stocked in some of London’s high-end stores such as Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nichols, Whole Foods, SOHO House and in many independent cafes and retailers.
