This year, an exciting new company has started, offering one of a kind travel experiences to local South Africans and visiting foreigners.
Perhaps a misleading name when appearing on a coffee-lovers website, Coffeebeans Routes does not offer exclusive coffee-related tours in your city. What they offer, rather, are tailored tour packages that cover a vast field of interests; ensuring that there is something on their itinerary to please just about everyone.
The team explains that they chose their name based on the solid fact that all around the world, people love and understand coffee. With coffee as their universal symbol, they hope to illustrate to their customers that just as coffee brings people from different creeds and colours together, so too can their tours.
Michael Letlala, Natasha Moses and Ian Harris together make up the creative energy behind the business. Their tours are available in a day and evening option, and span the topics of cuisine, art, beer, music, history, among many others.
A particular tour of interest is one aimed at exposing the hidden gems within Cape Town, the 2014 World Design Capital. This tour is aimed at educating its participants as well as celebrating the aspects of the city that earned it its impressive title.
A truly novel project with a name we love- Coffeebeans Routes is something that I Love Coffee firmly approves of.
